Congratulations to three high school students who competed in the Regionals last Friday!

11/14 Regional Meet – Athlete Summaries

Athlete 1 – 18:01 (PR ↓ :02)

This athlete delivered an outstanding performance at Regionals, setting a new personal best of 18:01, improving by two seconds from his previous mark of 18:03. He attacked the course with confidence, opening in 5:30 for the first mile, holding a strong rhythm through 11:25 at two miles, and closing with one of the fastest final kicks of the day. His consistency and competitive fire made him a standout in the regional field, closing out the season as one of the strongest runners in the district and an emerging force for next year.

Athlete 2 – 23:48 (PR ↓ :36)

This athlete rose to the challenge of the regional stage and produced a huge 36-second personal record, finishing in 23:48. She executed an aggressive yet disciplined race, clocking a 7:05 first mile, reaching 15:02 at the two-mile, and powering through the final stretch with outstanding focus. This marks the fastest performance of her career and highlights the tremendous progress she has made throughout the season. Her surge in confidence, pacing, and endurance shows she’s ready for even bigger breakthroughs ahead.

Athlete 3 – 24:36 (↑ :06 from PR)

This athlete delivered a strong and composed race at Regionals, finishing in 24:36, only six seconds off her PR. She matched her peers' opening intensity with a 7:05 first mile, hit 14:54 at the two-mile mark, and showed excellent race management over the final mile. She has been one of the most consistent and dependable performers this season, demonstrating race maturity and toughness every meet. Her regional effort was a fitting close to a season defined by steady improvement and competitive resilience.
