Creation Day is on Friday, April 12th!
We will celebrate and honor the Lord for His creation and showcase how students cared for His creation throughout the year. Students in grades K through 5 will participate in a special Chapel highlighting Serve-a-thon projects, individual classroom projects, Environmental Club accomplishments, and more.
In addition, we will hold a cake contest where students can bake and decorate a cake that features our annual theme and an environmental twist. The 2023-2024 School Theme is Charting God’s Course: Seek His Presence. Seek. Listen. Respond. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)
If you are interested in participating in the cake contest, please complete the form in the Related Resources as soon as possible. The cakes must be dropped off in the dining room on Friday morning, April 12th. There are new guidelines for the cakes. Each cake must be:
- Non-perishable (no need for refrigeration)
- Placed in a disposable container with disposable serving utensils
- Labeled with the child’s name and grade (please place the label under the disposable container so that it is not visible during judging)
