Boca Christian encourages high achievement for students in grades 6 through 8 in a challenging, disciplined, and caring climate. All subjects are taught from the perspective of Biblical truth.
Our comprehensive program includes physical education classes, music, art, chapel, etiquette, and exploratory curricular activities.
Middle school students are given the opportunity to participate in competitive interscholastic athletics.
The middle school academic program includes English, math, science, social studies, and Bible. Students who need extra help in academic areas are able to find it in scheduled help sessions by teachers and in computer center remedial sessions.
For students who qualify, Algebra I is offered for high school credit in the 8th grade. In addition, we provide opportunities for the academically talented middle school student to be challenged through a special enrichment program.
Middle school students receive formal instruction in the computer center. They are introduced to application software such as Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Scratch, and coding; they create multimedia presentations using PowerPoint and are trained in the safe and responsible use of the Internet.
A Lego League robotics club, offered for grades 6 – 8, challenges students to build and program motorized robots to solve problems and compete with other clubs.
