A unique feature of Boca Christian has been the annual theme, which sets the spiritual direction of the school year. Past themes have dealt with America, creativity, excellence, diligence, truth, the environment, time, kindness, new beginnings, priorities, courage, and stewardship.
Our
theme for the 2007/08 school year is:

Key verse:
Romans 8:37, "...in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
As I considered where we should go with this year’s theme, I have been struck with the significant challenges that we face as a school community, nationally, and indeed, globally. The school is seeking to raise, through the IGNITE Capital Campaign, $16.9 million and to consolidate our school into one campus, PreK4-12. When I think beyond our school, I think of the challenges that we face with the economy, property taxes, insurance, and potential hurricanes looming on the horizon. If you have had your homeowner's insurance cancelled, please raise your hand! When I think nationally, we face a complicated war in Iraq, the issue of global warming, and terrorism. Our society faces the challenge of declining moral standing. We face significant challenges at every corner. As Christians, we are reminded that the challenges we face are opportunities for God to work and demonstrate His power as we give them over to Him in faith. Our theme is based on Romans 8:37, “…in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” This is a verse that flows out of a wonderful passage in Romans 8 which encourages us to press on in confidence. In verse 8:31, it says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Life is full of challenges, but we should not succumb to the challenges that life brings, for with Christ’s help we live in victory. I think it is important that our students grab hold of the confidence that they can have in Jesus Christ in a challenging age.
