About the Program

Super Sleuth

Super Sleuth (grades 2-5) challenges students to solve clues by finding keywords, selecting and using the correct reference books, and using online search techniques. Thinking skills as well as reference skills are involved. Students may use online encyclopedias for every other set of clues, but they may not use Google, Yahoo, AskJeeves, etc. After the clues have been posted for two weeks, the media specialist announces the winners and talks with the class about the different ways to find the answer. Winners are announced every two weeks on Wednesdays.
