Having up-to-date photos of our many activities makes bocachristian.org the interesting and informative web site we want it to be. With all the events at BRCS, our volunteer website team can't be at them all.

Are you capturing that "moment" with your camera? If you have high quality photos of a sporting or other activity at Boca Christian, please consider sharing them with others on bocachristian.org. We and the students will greatly appreciate it!
All Boca Christian website pictures are submitted via the Shutterfly online photo sharing service. If you're not yet a member of Shutterfly, you'll need to create a free membership before contributing pictures (instructions below).
NOTE ABOUT PHOTO RELEASES: We review all photo submissions, and if a parent has not signed a photo release we will omit their child's photo from the album. All middle school and high school sporting events are covered by the FHSAA release. Other events are covered by the BRCS release form, if it has been turned in by the parent.
Tips for Better Pictures
- Use the highest resolution setting on your digital camera.
- Get as close to the action as possible.
- For non-sporting events, take pictures of individuals or small groups (2-3 students). Photos of large groups will almost always include students without photo releases.
- Take lots of pictures! For an athletic event, capture as many different team members as you can.

If shooting with film, have the photo processor provide a photo CD.
- Select the pictures to share with the website, including as many different students as possible in your selection. If you have taken many pictures, please select at most 50 of each event (except for mission trips, which may have up to 150 pictures because of the trip length).
- Keep the pictures in the highest resolution that you have -- don't resample or resize them. If you enjoy photo editing, you may optionally apply cropping, color correction, or sharpening.
- If you're not yet a member of Shutterfly, create a free membership by clicking on this link:
- Sign in to your account at www.shutterfly.com.
- Add the pictures to a new Shutterfly album. Don't combine more than one event in a single album; create a new album for each event.
- After the pictures finish uploading, view the new album and then select "Share" in the upper right corner.
- Select "Email these pictures."
- Send the inviitation to the following email address:
gotpictures bocachristian.org
- Put the EVENT NAME AND DATE in the Subject field of the invitation. For example:

NOTE: If it's not possible to type into the Subject field (which Shutterfly prevents in some cases), please send a follow-up e-mail to gotpicturesbocachristian.org with the event name and date information.
- You'll see your pictures on bocachristian.shutterfly.com in a few days, pending verification of photo releases (see note above). Thank you!!
Why not just send them by e-mail or CD? By sharing the pictures through Shutterfly, you'll save your dedicated but extremely busy website team approximately 90 minutes per event in photo processing. Any questions,

Do you like video? Our coaches would love to have game tapes of selected games in their schedule. These tapes are a tremendous teaching tool for our coaches and will have a direct impact in improving a team's performance. If you are going to be at an event and have a video camera with tripod, please consider helping out a coach and make a VHS video game tape. There is no need to get fancy for our game tapes. When you get home, hook up your camcorder to your VCR and make a copy right from your camera. Contact us and we'll send you tips on how to make great game videos that coaches will love.
