Students receive real-life training in missions at the H.E.A.R.T. Institute (Hunger Education Awareness and Research Training), learning about under-developed countries, attending an ethnic church, and taking part in service projects. Students serve families and communities in the Appalachian Mountains of Moshen, TN. The trip includes helping with a firewood ministry and other ministries. In 2014, the mayor of Greenville declared April 8th as Boca Raton Christian School Day. Students minister to the homeless and addicted through the Church on the Street in the Dream Center in Phoenix, serving meals and witnessing to children. They also get to enjoy a visit to the Grand Canyon. Students serve at the Pura Vida Mission and conduct Vacation Bible School to four different neighborhoods in the village of San Ramon. They also enjoy many adventure activities in the rainforest at Arenal.
