 Mrs. Bonnie Schry, art teacher at BRCS, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2005. While we are deeply saddened by her death, we rejoice that she is in the presence of the Lord. Bonnie was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Eve and had been fighting a virus. It was also discovered at that time that she had leukemia.
Mrs. Schry held a Master's Degree in Art Education and was certified in Advanced Placement Art. Since 1978, she faithfully taught Boca Raton Christian School students to appreciate and create excellent artwork. A sampling of her students' work may be viewed on the Fine Arts page.
Mrs. Schry's creativity, organization, enthusiasm, and sense of humor were appreciated by students and parents alike. She had three grown children and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations to be made in Bonnie's name to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society or to Boca Raton Christian School. |
