A Vision of Truth and Excellence
For the past 33 years, Boca Christian, a ministry of Boca Raton Community Church, has integrated biblical principles and values into an academically sound curriculum. The growth of Boca Christian has been significant. In fact, the school began with 97 students and has grown to our current campuses with an enrollment of nearly 600 students.
Hundreds of children have enjoyed a great beginning at Boca Christian. Our popular prekindergarten, kindergarten, and elementary grades provide an engaging curriculum that promotes active learning. The middle and high school years at Boca Christian offer a tremendous balance of academics, electives, and extra-curricular activities. Boca Raton Christian High School is the only evangelical high school in the city. Its technology is a unique feature; teachers and students in grades 10-12 are issued a laptop computer which is connected by a wireless network. Honors classes, dual enrollment, and AP courses are also part of the high school curriculum.
Faculty
Boca Christian’s faculty are solid Christians with a commitment to education that is comprehensive, creative, and life-changing. Of fifty faculty members, thirty-six have bachelor’s degrees, thirteen master’s degrees, and one doctoral degree. Several faculty members have been included in either Who’s Who in American Education or Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. The faculty and staff are highly trained and motivated role models who impact students both inside and outside the classroom.
Accreditation
Boca Raton Christian School is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the Florida Kindergarten Council. Prior to starting our high school in 1999, the school was recognized twice as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. It was also commended by the Florida House of Representatives, “for outstanding achievements in education.” ACSI has recognized the high school technology program as a national exemplary program.
Biblical World View
We believe it is critical that the next generation be grounded in biblical truth. Boca Christian seeks to provide an academic curriculum that challenges the whole child intellectually, spiritually, socially, and physically. We want to impart a biblical world view to our students and equip them to be an influence in their world.
Our vision is to be a Christian school of influence characterized by academic excellence in a caring, loving community. The daily passion of the faculty and staff is to provide an exceptional educational experience that is seen through the perspective of the Bible.
