| The middle school program
includes English, math, science, social studies, and Bible. All
subjects are taught from the perspective of Biblical truth. A
well-rounded program of physical education classes, music,
art, and exploratory co-curricular
activities is provided. Students in grades
6-8 are given the opportunity to participate in competitive athletics throughout
the school year. Opportunities for the academically
talented to be challenged are provided through
a special enrichment program. For students who
qualify, Algebra I is offered for high school credit
in 8th grade. Students are able to create web
pages in a special computer class. Numerous
academic
competitions also help students reach their
potential. Students who need extra help in
academic areas are able to find help in scheduled
help sessions
by teachers and computer center remedial sessions. The
academic program encourages high achievement through
a challenging, disciplined and caring climate. Student
government, yearbook, and student-led assemblies
offer students opportunities to develop leadership
skills. Technology and fine
arts opportunities help to round a program
to meet the needs of the whole child. |
