Raton Christian School provides a 4-year-old and 5-year-old
kindergarten program. A
close teacher / child relationship in a happy Christian
environment
is a focus. The
5-year-old program offers a half or full day session
to students who turn
five by September first. The half day session is
from 8:05 - 11:50 and the full day session is from 8:05
- 2:40. The 5-year-old program is well-balanced and
the curriculum provides a quality program in phonics, reading
readiness, reading, numbers, writing, science, and social
studies. Activities include art, library, music, Spanish, playground time, fine and gross
motor skill opportunities, and field trips to provide an outstanding
program. |
The
ultimate goal of the kindergarten program is that young
children will grow to know, love, and
serve Jesus Christ, and gain a strong academic foundation
for the elementary years ahead. |
