The school was first accredited in 1978 by the Florida Council of Independent Schools. It added a second accreditation with the Association of Christian Schools International in 1987. In 1995, accreditation with the Florida Kindergarten Council was received. The school was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 1990 and again in 1997.

The lower campus is situated on approximately 22 acres in downtown Boca Raton. The main school building was built in 1978 and a classroom/office wing was added in 1993. In that same year the church built a Recreation and Athletic Center which has provided a gymnasium for the school. Six more classrooms were added to the east wing in 1998. In 1999 the high school opened on the grounds of Calvary Chapel Boca Raton.
